Synopsis of the Forrest Gump
What kind of life can a man with an IQ of only 75 live? Forrest Gump gives the most unexpected answer. Born in a small town in Alabama, he wore leg braces since childhood, stumbled through his childhood, and was often teased by his peers. But his mother always told him: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." This sentence became the compass of his life. By chance, he ran into the football field and became a star player; he ran into the university and got a degree; he went to the battlefield of Vietnam, witnessed the cruelty of war, and lost his best friend Bubba, but also met the tough lieutenant Dan. After the war, he accidentally became a ping-pong champion, started a shrimping business, and even inadvertently triggered the jogging craze across the country. All the way, he crossed paths with many important figures and events in American history, but he always kept his simplicity. The only persistence in his life is his love for Jenny—from the childhood girl who stood by him, to the wandering woman who drifted through the world, he waited and guarded silently, until the end, he finally accompanied Jenny and their little son to spend the last warm time.
